THE MAKER: 

Amy is a mom, teacher of jewelry craft, and talented metalsmith here in the heart of the Appalachian mountains. She creates each piece by hand using traditional metalsmithing techniques and torch. Her focus is on finding balance through structure, exploring the relationship between line and negative space making her pieces surprisingly light and very wearable. Amy’s designs are bold, minimalistic, and androgynous pulling inspiration from Art Deco and ancient art & architecture. She uses brass, gold, sterling silver, and argentium silver.
